Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 June 2026

These terms govern use of BossOps, operated by Mackintosh Projects. By creating an account or using BossOps, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, where relevant, the business you represent.

Service

BossOps provides hospitality operations tools for invoice review, supplier products, recipe costing, menu GP, stock counts, supplier orders, rota, leave, attendance, HR records, staff access, reporting and exports. Features may change as the product develops.

Customer responsibilities

Data protection

Where BossOps processes workspace data for your business, the Data Processing Agreement applies. The Privacy Policy explains how Mackintosh Projects handles personal data when acting as controller or processor.

Acceptable use

You must not use BossOps to process unlawful content, attempt to bypass security, access another customer’s data, overload the service, misuse AI/document processing, or use the service in a way that could harm Mackintosh Projects, BossOps, other customers or individuals.

Billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed according to the plan, employee tier and billing period shown at signup or in the billing area. Unless otherwise agreed, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed.

Availability and support

We aim to provide a reliable service, but BossOps is provided on an “as available” basis. Planned maintenance, provider outages, internet problems, emergency security work or third-party failures may affect availability.

No professional advice

BossOps provides operational software and draft calculations. It is not legal, tax, accounting, food safety, nutrition labelling, employment, payroll or medical advice. You should check critical decisions with the appropriate professional or authority.

Liability

BossOps is not responsible for business losses caused by unreviewed uploads, incorrect source data, customer configuration, employment decisions, supplier changes, menu pricing decisions or misuse of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, security risk, misuse, breach of these terms or legal requirement. Customers may request export or deletion of workspace data subject to retention needed for legal, security, billing or audit reasons.

Changes

We may update these terms as BossOps develops. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means, such as in-app notice or email.
