Affiliate Programme Terms
Last updated: 8 June 2026
These terms apply when a customer, partner or approved referrer shares BossOps and earns referral commission.
Current offer. A referred new customer gets half price for their first subscription month. The referrer earns 20% of paid subscription revenue for referred customers, subject to the rules below.
Eligible referrals
- The referred customer must be new to BossOps and must use the referrer’s link or referral code before checkout.
- Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, fake accounts, misleading promotions and referrals from existing sales conversations may be rejected.
- BossOps may decline commission where the referral was not the genuine source of the customer.
Commission calculation
- Commission is calculated on paid recurring subscription invoice lines, excluding VAT, refunds, chargebacks, credits and one-off setup fees.
- The current default commission rate is 20%.
- If the customer upgrades, downgrades, pauses, cancels or fails payment, commission follows the actual paid subscription amount.
- No commission is earned on invoices that are not successfully paid.
Payouts
- Commission is held for 45 days after the relevant invoice is paid.
- Payable commission is normally paid monthly by manual bank transfer.
- The default minimum payout threshold is £50. Amounts below the threshold roll forward.
- BossOps may delay or reverse commission affected by refunds, chargebacks, fraud checks, billing disputes or account abuse.
Tax and status
Affiliates are independent referrers and are responsible for declaring referral income, issuing any required invoices and paying any tax, National Insurance, VAT or other amounts due. Participation does not create employment, agency, partnership or franchise status.
Promotion rules
- Affiliates must be honest about BossOps and must not make unsupported claims, guarantees or false price statements.
- Affiliates must not bid on confusing brand ads, impersonate BossOps, spam prospects, scrape contact lists or use unlawful marketing.
- BossOps may suspend or remove an affiliate code for misuse, brand risk or suspected fraud.
Changes and termination
BossOps may update, pause or end the affiliate programme. Material changes will not remove commission already earned on valid paid invoices, unless fraud, refunds, chargebacks or breach of these terms applies.
